Good News!! At 23:46, both members of the SALOMON RUSIA team where found and rescued in good conditions. They where at the other side of the fiord, the south coast line, waiting with their lamps on. Congratulations for the good news.
In the last satellite communicate, the race director inform us that the race will be neutralized till tomorrow midday, when all the teams will be together again at PC3 Peales, to make a captain meeting, and go on with the race.
13:40 The last communication tells us that the race has been restarted al 12:40 after all the teams reached the PC3 Perales and a captain meeting was realized. All the runners are accomplishing now another bike section (90 km) till the PC4 Pinto.
Only one team was able to reach the PC3 Perales paddling, it was LA CLUSAZ RAID ADVENTURE, leading the race.
The GLOBALSTAR CHILE team was penalized with 24 hours, and the FUCAWI team with 36 hours, since both needed assistance during the kayak section, But both are still on the race and on the ranking.
The JEAN MERMOZ ARGENTINA team decided to leave the race and is on its way to its country in this moment.
The SALOMON RUSIA team was disqualified during the kayak section, because they didn't respect the security rules, since they where suppose to paddle together. The first kayak, lost communication and visibility with the second one, risking the safety of their partners. But they will continue with the race, just out of the ranking.
16:30 We have been informed that all the teams have already passed the town of Puerto Natales. In this moment there are three teams with a good avantage over the rest, the are
LA CLUSAZ RAID AVENTURE, THE KING'S OWN CALGARY REGIMENT and FUKAWI, this group is being leaded by the young captain of the Canadian team Tom Zidek.
18:22 hrs Two teams reach together the PC4 Pinto, FUKAWI and LA CLUSAZ RAID AVENTURE, in this order, separated only by 30 seconds. Now they are arranging all the rope equipment. They must ascend a rock wall 100 m high. It’s been estimated that this activity will take about 1 hour per team.
Sandrine Tonnean of team ALLIER AVENTURE, suffered a fall during the bicycle section, so that the team decided not passing the ropes, getting disqualified. However they continue in race but out of ranking.
