The fourth edition of PATAGONIA EXPEDITION RACE took place this last February 2007. Setting a historic milestone, we have crossed the southern extreme of Patagonia from Torres del Paine National Park to Puerto Williams, further south of the Beagle Channel. For the Organization it meant over 1,100 kilometers of logistics, for the racers, more than 1,100 kilometers of racing, more than 1,100 kilometers of adventures and unforgettable experiences.
We have been in two weeks of racing, two weeks in touch with wild nature, sometimes hostile, but magnificent and always stunning. We have also been amongst whales, albatrosses, penguins, dolphins, sea lions, guanacos, beavers and wild horses. We have been close to glaciers, crossed spongy peat bogs and heavily packed forests, we have gone up the Darwin Mountain Range, crossed the Magellan Strait and the Beagle Channel in kayaks,... all these have been experiences that will leave a mark on us forever.

The experimented French team TSL – La Clusaz, Jerome Bernard, Cathy Ardito, Laurent Ardito and Frédéric Freddow, have leaded the race and finally taken the victory. This has been their second triumph in Patagonia Expedition Race, their first was in 2005.
In the update section are the details of the development of the race, and in the photography section you will find over 500 images...
